OUR STORY

In 2004, a team of passionate educators set out to change the future for students slipping through the cracks. What began as a bold idea in South Carolina grew into a nationwide movement, helping overage, at-risk students catch up, thrive, and believe in themselves again. Star Academy has served more than 20,000 students in over 100 school systems across 20 states. And we’re just getting started.

Built by educators, for educators, Star Academy is a dedicated team that includes curriculum coaches, educational specialists, IT technicians, and program liaisons. We work alongside schools every step of the way, providing guidance, training, and support.
