Embedded within the Star Academy Program™ is the Healthy Academy Climate program. The program has three components: Healthy School Climate development, Results Based Communication protocol, and Raising Productive Teens.
The
Healthy School Climate is a process by which the three main communities of a school/academy – the staff/teachers, the students, and the parents – collaborate on methods to improve the climate of the facility.
The
Results Based Communication protocol training and on-site follow-up sessions provide professional development for the entire Star Academy staff.
The
Raising Productive Teens session is for parents and teachers of students enrolled in the Star Academy Program. Sessions serve to reengage parents in the education of their children and to build a support group among parents and staff.
